Is that only me?

I was watching this film called Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and I felt that one of the characters looked remarkably alike a very popular actor. Wonder whether it was only me or can everyone see it? Of course, a lot depends on hairstyle, facial hair frame etc, and could be coincidental, but yet one can't help but wonder if it wasn't an inspiration. The pictures I have put up here are those screenshots that especially caught my fancy. Oh uploading the images was in itself painstaking. I havent bothered with the alignment or the looks or whatever too much.

At last I have updated my blog. Cool. Back to hibernation.

Raja, Yeah.

Srik, hey this movie was released around the time Rajni was gaining footholds in the industry. It was released in 1969 if I am not mistaken.

Tdsmapper, thanks.

Looks like Rajini only towards the end. Especially after the weird hair colours in Sivaji.

No, he resembled Rajni a lot throughout the film, especially when not wearing a hat. But take nothing away from Rajni, he is original, unique and cool in his own way. I only thought he might have modelled himself on him a little bit when he entered the film industry. And it wasnt a resemblance with the hair colour in sivaji alone. It was a resemblance with a lot of old films of Rajni.

Good Find.,

And how Random is your thought that wud take a pentium 4 1.7Ghz to process?

shankar has always been guilty of plagiarism, in some form or the other. the only thing he is careful about is the south indian audience not knowing the source.

Raghavsr, It would take a pentium 4 1.7 ghz a bit of time to process my random thoughts. However it needs a graphics card with pixel shading to process some of my more vivid thoughts.

sathyanarain, I dont know about that. I thought Rajni might have seen it during his early days and modeled himself on this hairstyle. People get reminded of Sivaji only because of the blonde hairstyle.
